Try your luck——both good and bad! This was the first year I incorporated the year number (year 7) into the title. My wife and I used this as an excellent excuse to buy some scratchcards for design research (we won a couple bucks that I totally forgot to claim, ha). I find superstitions and good luck charms to be a very interesting subject, so choosing the themes was also a good time.
The price glyphs at the top are that way because scratchcards, at least in Massachusetts which is the kind this is based off, have the price in the top left corner. I wanted it to be a realistic card, but not confusing as to the price.... Because it was definitely higher than a $5 ticket!
