Down to the last match——a really fun calendar to design, and back to my favorite concept of a physical-object calendar that I had enjoyed so much with the VHS tape stack. I think the matches look especially great, and it flexed all the things I've learned over the years about digital art, both in simplicity of technique and in rendering details.
Each match came with hints about how the cat had lost that life, and thus hints about the associated design. I really fell in love with the finale design, but it went off to an excellent home, as it should!
