By receiving or inquiring about receiving art or original designs from me, or acquiring one of my designs/art pieces secondhand, you are agreeing to these terms.

Terms of Service for artwork

You may use artwork commissioned by/for you in a personal way, such as:

Displaying in a character gallery
Using as an icon
Cropping, rotating, tinting, decorating
Putting transparent works onto a background image
Reposting with credit to me
Printing for your own personal use

You may NOT use this artwork for:

Painting or drawing significant edits over the artwork (please make a new piece!)
Using for commercial purposes

Commercial Use includes, but is not limited to, making and selling of prints, charms, toys, books, etc., anything created using the artwork's design (including modified versions) and sold for currency both real and digital.

Terms of Service for character/design adoptables

In addition to the above, here are some extra rules for adoptable designs and customs.

You may use adoptables you own in a personal way, such as:

Changing colors on the adoptable's original artwork
Making significant edits to the design on a new drawing, not the original artwork
Reselling a design that you own for any price (*NOT APPLICABLE TO CURIO OR OTHER CLOSED SPECIES DESIGNS)
All the things listed in the "Artwork" section above

You may NOT use adoptables for:

Painting or drawing significant edits over the artwork (please make a new piece!)
Using for commercial purposes (the design OR art)

And, regarding closed species designs:

Please take into account the rules of a given closed species when editing your design or trading/reselling
Curio designs CANNOT be resold for more than they were purchased for and cannot be resold if traded/gifted; see the group rules for that!
Feel free to port any of my designs that you own to/from a species!

Any adoptables that I create may NOT be used commercially. You may not use any of my designs, one-offs or otherwise, in any sort of publication, even if it is free of charge--this includes webcomics, books, games, etc. If you feel your usage may be encroaching on this, contact me and I will be happy to help sort it out.

I retain the right to use artwork and adoptables for self promotion and portfolio examples. You may repost the commissioned image elsewhere, but credit me as the artist, and consider watermarking/resizing from the original file in order to prevent theft.
